Okay, worded like that it makes more sense. Sorry I was perhaps a bit too rigid in my responses earlier! I'll get the MOT sorted, before I look to sell it on here then no problems. But could anyone at least help facilitate me in a quest to find a "realistic" sales price? Most websites go very high or very low - with none actually being a true reflection.

You must have an idea of the price you want?
Start with what you paid and work downwards from that until you find a figure you think is fair. Compare that to others, tweak accordingly and see if it attracts interest. If not; it's too high. |

Well I'm seeing them on Autotrader and eBay Motors at like £14-15k. I understand that's a retail price and so on, and individual private sales are usually marginally lower. I'd be happy with £13k.

Not sure which version of Autotrader you're looking at?
This one appears to be very similar http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...iles?logcode=p It is not a LWB despite what the advert says |

Ah yes, seems pretty spot on. I'd be happy with that price. I just offered it to someone for £13k. So near enough the same.

I've had my A8 on eBay for the past 28 days at £9,750 and didn't get much interest. It's a 57 plate so slightly older than yours and it has 10,000 more miles on the clock, but the specification is similar.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2718143606...84.m1560.l2649 I won't bother listing it on eBay again. I usually use Autotrader. I don't think eBay is very good for selling cars. What do others think? Is it just generally quite difficult to sell an A8? I accept its probably a bit over priced, but is it considerably over priced? I love the car to be honest, I'm not that interested in selling it. I was just trying to get an idea of what its worth for future reference. I think you will do very well to get anything close to £13k for yours evo based on my experience, but maybe eBay is a bad indicator and an 08 plate with a 10,000 less miles on is a lot more desirable... I don't think 10k less miles really makes much difference, but there was a huge change from 2007 and my 2008. Visually at least the Facelift of it all... Not justifying anything, selling any of these cars is more difficult... its not expensive enough for someone to get a loan/finance, but its not cheap enough for the average joe to BACS you some cash!

Either way, I'm going away this weekend so I'd snap someones arm off for £12.5k right now! Even throw in a spare alloy I have no use for!
