You may find that audi tell you the job is "not possible" as the gearbox is sealed for life! A ZF specialist will have a very different opinion on the subject...

I use these guys for 4 years now. Group of Audi Ex-Master Technicians with experience from USA to Europe working at Audi dealers just got together and opened own business, I'm very close to thinking that they have became the best VAG independent specialists in London. Each guy owns like own pocket selected group of VAG cars, all together they cover them all, they also have Ex-Master Technician who is just Guru in electronics on top of it and I've seen them pulling amazing things which Audi would never do.
