Wanted - single 9x20 D3 A8 "Final Edition" style alloy
Hi all,
I'm after a single 9x20 "Final Edition" style alloy that came on D3's.....I'm not sure of the correct term for them, but they're essentially the same as the D2 versions but half an inch wider. I've upgraded my 8.5's to 9's all round and it bothers me that the spare is not matching. Condition not overly important, but I don't want one with any cracks/buckles. Preferably as close to South London and surrounding counties as possible Cheers Rich

I've got a brand new one of these as yet us-used if you're interested which is diamond cut at the factory. I bought it a while ago online before I got my other FE wheels and ended up with 8 1/2 inch wheels rather than 9 and have since got another 8.5 inch spare wheel. PM me to discuss what you're prepared to pay if you're interested and I can send you pics of the wheel.

+1, won't fit in the wheel well.
I found out when I had a flat during my first week of ownership. I then bought Dunlop Sports all round.

I'm running the correct 255/35 all round now, but had the 275/35 on them previously as normally found in the D3.
The 275 DOES fit in the wheel well.....just! When I collected them I put one in there....but I had take out the tool kit and surrounding foam first so I could line it up perfectly. It was a tight squeeze and I think with the tyre being slightly under inflated helped, but it definitely went in.

Always had 275 35 20 on fe wheel in the boots of out D3s never has issues with fitting.
However i am led to believe that they have different wheel wells and is indicated by the sticker in the fuel cap as to the compatibility

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions and extended leather. Ski hatch retrofit. Aftermarket reversing camera. DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant. 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
