I think I have its identical twin! I believe it is from the front door pocket but I need to have a closer look at mine before I can say for sure....

Thanks for the replies.

Just had a butchers in the dark with a torch. Can't see where it may have come from, but don't have access to the near side at the moment.

Curious.

From memory the top hinge is the smaller one and could have a pin like that, but it does look small in the photo. If it is from the hinge assembly it'll be obvious, but be careful as the door could drop. The top hinge pin has a grub screw.

I'd expect the pin to be pushed in from the top so even if it were to come loose it could never fall out, but that might not be the case.

Also worth checking the glove box hinge?

I think its the door pocket stop.. normally has a white rubber grommet over the top.. if you pull your pocket out you will see them on there ... i could be wrong of course ... infact a strong possibility id say

Seems I've lost the pin. Oh well. Maybe we'll never know!

Well, the hinged door pocket is loose, so that's where the pin came from. Best try and find it.

Ok. I found the pin again, and returned it to the hinge of the door pocket. Turns out part of the plastic hinge had snapped.

All back together again with some loctite and zip ties. (for now at least)
