And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

To answer your question properly, in order to do the whole journey from bottom to top of the "Wild Atlantic Way" which is 1590 miles we will need to do about 225 miles a day which judging by my recent journey is about 5 hours-ish of driving a day. There will be plenty of stops, agreed points where we finish for B&B every day (mostly in villages with facilities and pubs etc) and a detailed list of each days route and suggested stopping points for great views or attractions etc. It is a HOLIDAY first, and a great driving experience second, to answer your question, but everyone will no doubt have to compromise on where we go and what we see a little if we are to be able to drive it all together as a group. I do intend for us all to have walkie talkies each to ensure we can keep in touch locally with each other and that should also help ensure that if anyone has an issue, everyone on the trip is aware of it
