Brakes have got very squeaky the last few days but got no indication of low brake pads. They were recently checked and found to have plenty of pad left. Suspect the noise is coming from NSF wheel. Im confident its the brakes as it only happens when I apply the brakes, plus you can hear the squealing gets quieter and louder as the wheel rotates.
I'm thinking something has got trapped between the pad and disc. Has anyone got the way to remove and replace the back pad so? Thank you. |

You could try spraying the area down with an iron dissolver like Iron-X or Bilt & Hamber Korrosol. That will dissolve any small iron particles (brake pad dust) that might be caught in the calliper.
It'll be difficult to get it into the calliper, but it's worth a try. Otherwise, remove the pads and butter the backs of them with copper grease. |

Thanks Turbo Tony and Snapdragon. I'm going to take a crack at the brakes tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm also debating whether to just get a full set of new pads for the front..... Will update on the outcome. Cheers gents.
