It can be a bit hit and miss - for a really small job (brake fluid) dealer insisted on a personal quote from indy with veh reg on it etc. They relented after I pointed out the price was also on their Web site
Other times they've done it with no quibble or just flat refused (tyres they're hopeless for and will only price match kwik fit)
