MMI reboothing
not a massive problem ...but over the past few weeks my MMI seems to reboot very 2 or so days on start up. Normally the screen pops right up after the car has been started but every 2-3 days it will not . I get a sound and then it takes a few mins to flip up and start.
This has only been a prob after I did a manual reboot using the 3 button reset. has anyone had the same problem. I don't get any other reboots over the next day or two. Does anyone have any tips. Thanks all PS was thinking of doing another manual reboot to see if that helps. |

If the battery is deemed low, certain things are disabled at startup such as heated seats and MMI - as it comes on later, it might be this.
Also, upon starting the car, the MMI will resume to whatever state (up or down) it was last time you used it, so if you closed it or it closed itself because you sat in the car too long it will stay closed the next time you start the car. |

Great thanks for that I'm due to have the battery replaced, it's only a year old but because of a problem with the BEM unit has getting discharged. This has been fixed now with a replacement BEM unit and also finding the drain on the battery which was a door sensor not going to sleep. I have now removed the button and seems to have fixed it. So may well we the battery.
