I bought the Lucas ones about 4 months back, and they've been OK so far, but nothing spectacular. Quiet, but they don't give a perfect wipe any more.

I bought the aero wiper repair kit off VAG and its less than £10 but it won't work with D3s, like snappy said.
Its all one unit with two metal strips sandwiching the rubber in place. I got 4 wipers here if you want to try but its not possible I don't think. I went to AUdi and bought a set of wipers at about £54. So now to bad really and the windscreen is so much nicer to look out of now.
