Spax I think you have been caught with your pants down, do the honourable thing and put this right.

Someone with a bit of brains and experience found a flaw with your produce and through the lack of prompt reply and apathy you have hoped this problem would go away.

It clearly hasn't and I think quite rightly it shouldn't.

This probably isn't something for discussion on an open forum. At least you're talking to one another now, hopefully a dialogue can continue.

Open forum is the correct place. It's making this public that appears to have made Spax sit up, take notice and respond.
It was exactly the same with me when Revo pranged my car. It was public exposure and help from this forum that got them to pay up.

Clearly this is not a happy situation for Spax. Its in their hands to turn this PR fail into a PR win

I too strongly believe that given the lack lustre responses in the past an open and honest exchange is the best course forward.

Similar style of thread on a Merc forum I'm a member of:
http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/wheel...anks-spax.html

Shame, I've always admired Spax and have fitted their springs on previous cars I've owned but I'd definitely think twice about buying from them now

SPAX is a well-off company and the stuff they sell probably has quite a markup...

Come on, Spax, 1% of the time things do go awry and you have to cut your losses to maintain the UK culture of customer is king.

We are sorry RallyQuattro feels we have failed him. We are also sad he has aired his grievances on a public forum presumably to cause damage to Spax’s reputation in the Audi community.

We are not going to publicly discuss or correct the one sided discussion with the facts. We have replied to the hugely disproportionate number of emails regarding the kit, dating back to the moment the kit was received.

We would like to add at no point has the kit been faulty. We have only not replied to the last few emails because we have no more we can offer or say other than keep repeating the same answers from the older emails. We have done as much as we can as the designers and manufactures of this product, we did not sell the product to RallyQuattro.

We pride ourselves both as a company and individuals (yes we are real people just like everyone else) on providing the best product and support we possibly can. We often bypass retailers to ensure end-users get the best possible advice, should technical queries rise which we have done throughout.
