Not really, but then there's an awful lot of butt doing the dyno'ing.

What is impressive that with the combination of remap, cats and filter, the car really does pick up beautifully. I did a few runs in 3rd gear, starting at 25mph up to the rev limiter and it does get there very quickly. The remap really does help in the 2500-4000 rpm range, generating stronger torque than previously. Along with a much more zingy top end from 6000-7000 rpm, where it feels likes it is still pushing, rather than simply revving out. The cats and filter will be only be helping that I'm sure.

One thing to note, that the oil on that filter isn't anything like what you use on K&N/Green Cotton filters. Damn that sh*t is sticky!!

Exposed cone filters, driling holes in the airbox........makes me wince being an ex-turbocharged car owner!!! I know det/pre-ig isn't such an issue on a NA but I'd still like to keep the engine happy and the power as high as it can be.

I was going to install my det monitors and water injection on the 8 but I doubt it would need it. Prob supercharger/nitrous territory for those.

I fully intend to do a nice carbon airbox when I get my 8 though!!! Also the main engine cover.....but that won't give you any extra bhp!!!

John
