To be honest, if you and Sergey are anything to go by. The 3.7's are certainly the most pampered.

All I can say is my 3.7 is about 20% better on fuel than my old M5. Better interior and built better also, though i really miss the chassis and v8 in the M5

Iv been knocking out 25mpg in my 4.2

Have done 26 mpg with the S8 over a distance of 150 miles with 3 people and luggage....
No Motorways, just plain bad Norwegian up-down roads. but following traffic and no passing of other cars (most booring trip ever)

Everyday use is apx 15 mpg.

I once had a Swiss guy explain to me why driving on the left was the 'right' way to do it. If you have nothing better to do, here is the tale:

Many years ago, (even before my time! ) when people rode on horses and carried a sword, they rode on the left. There were 2 reasons for this.

First, as most people are right-handed, if you met someone coming the other way and wanted to 'confront' them, you could draw your sword and engage them. This wouldn't be possible if you were riding on the right.

Second, if confrontation was not required, and the road was narrow, you would want to pass each other without your scabbard getting tangled with that of the other rider. Again, a problem if you're riding on the right.

Once this protocol became established, it was simply continued when the horse was replaced by the car and cycle.
