Tow bar on eBay Germany...
Hi folks,
I'm after a tow bar, and the electrical interface that suits the complexity of the D3. I'm ok with a spanner, but electrics isn't my thing... Anyway, while trawling eBay Germany, I came across this: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=391044478922 What are people's thoughts on it, I wonder if anyone out there in Internet land is fluent in German?? Could you possibly pass your eye over the ad'... Thanks in advance. John

My German is a bit stale nowadays
Suitable for: Audi A8 type 4E 10.2002 - 02.2010 AHK rigid screwed system The trailer hitch kit for the Audi A8 consists of: Tow bar rigid auto Hak (AHK rigid screwed system) with a 13-pin vehicle specific electrical kit from AC, which is perfectly suitable for self-assembly. The AHK has a towing capacity of 2430 kg and a supporting load of 95 kg. A TÜV-registration is not necessary in Germany. In the kit between electrical kit for the Audi A8 are all required parts, incl. Assembly instructions for the Audi A8, included. A release by a specialist workshop to the vehicle is necessary here.

They are saying that it is DIY friendly.
And that full instructions are included. I have never been interested in towing, did enough in the Army, so pricewise I cannot offer any assistance.
