Default I thought I got a parking ticket

I popped in to a garden centre earlier today for about 10 minutes. When I came back to my car I had not one but TWO white sealed envelopes on my windscreen. For a second I thought I had parked on disabled bay or something. But both had the same letter inside.

If you are reading this, sorry but my car is not for sale, but good luck with your search!!

That's the reverse of the for-sale sticker, never saw that before. He must really like your car. Must be nice to be appreciated

Never had a note left, but I have been approached a couple of times at service stations. One guy insisted on leaving me his mobile number in case I decided to sell it.

I once had one put on my immaculate red 1986 BMW 525i in 1998.
It was on my drive on a busy A road and he was the original company car owner and saw it every day and said in the note he wished he had kept it.
I never called him but in any case, sadly shortly after, I smashed it up and left it on the drive for 9 months - he must have seen it and been very sad.

I sold a registration plate many years ago as a result left on my windscreen. I got more than the value of the car, which at the time, as an impoverished student, was a very welcome windfall!
