Underneath the right hand stalk there is a button that cycles the display between Nav, computer and blank. Try that.

Nothing at all? I thought it still shows gear selection, but I may be wrong.

As Conan says, give the reset button on the wiper stalk a tap and see what happen

We've pretty much all done that one.

With instruments I usually go straight for VagCom and se if there are any faults. Follow this with the ouput tests and see what you get.

Could be a blown dash... Or maybe just a fuse.

Can't remember if you've got a PF or FL...

PF, fuse 1 in the yellow carrier (15A) covers, the bulb monitor, headlight range, on-board computer and instrument cluster.

Fuse 4 also covers aircon controls and 'instruments' (10A)
