Default Audi warranty question.

Hi guys just a quick one,if i change the air filters in my D3 S8 for a pair of K and N items would that void my Audi warranty?Thanks.

In theory, possibly as it's a non-spec part.. But as long as you can swap back to the originals before they get their hands on it...

I didn't think K&N filters were recommended on Audis because of potential for MAF damage from oil or particulates that get through the filter?

I use them fine on an old Citroen BX 16V but don't think I'd risk it on an S8

How about a Pipercross, or ITG filter?
They're a foam & wire based construction.....
