Default Tonight/the morrow

I will mostly be driving down in the S8 from Aberdeen to Bradford.
Looking at a car for the Mrs first thing in the morning, hopefully handing over cash.
Then driving all the way back, intime for her to start her nightshift on Friday night

Feel free to flash if you spot me

Careful buying a car from Bradford pal, a lot are clocked/stolen/crashed/dogy (no, not Darren's) but other traders over there. What car is it anyway?

It's one that she's spotted and 'liked the colour'

Called the chap yesterday and seems fine enough.
Any help of info before we drive down would be very much appreciated

Don't know anything about them so can't help with what to look out for, hope she enjoys it though.

We had a Xsara VTS Coupe in that colour, more or less....did make it easy to spot in a car park! When we sold it on ebay, the buyer's Mrs wanted it for the colour as well lol - was Bora Bora Green, as Citroen used to call it. A favourite on Pug 205s and less successfully plastered over many a Xsara Picasso since.....

Looks pretty decent vfm, assuming the mileage is genuine and it's not been smacked. Supposed to be quite decent cars and handle quite well, assuming it's not wearing the cheapest Chinese crap tyres of course!

I thought it wise to pay for one of them online checks, came up clear.
Will see what my spidy senses come up with when we get there !!

There is an older one about ten minutes drive from where we live. So its her own fault if she can't stay awake

Well, left here at 7pm last night, arrived at the hotel at 12:30.
Looked over the car first thing and everything was in order.
All mots accounted for and the mileage added up.
The car just needs a very good clean, outside and inside!!
Can't figure that out? Maybe they're just not too bothered about presentation.
Main things are that its an honest car and the Mrs is happy.
Left there at 10:30 and were in the door at 16:20 with a stop for lunch

Also, just filled up after the trip back. Mpg worked out at 24.66 !!!
That's for 370 miles and 75 ltrs.
With my lead foot I'm more than happy with that
