Default Riots

Watching the coverage on TV is making me so angry and sad. There are some upsides. Communities coming together and protecting one another's businesses, and a couple serving cups of tea to the police force on a 30 hour shift to name a few. I hope everyone on here is okay, all is quiet and quaint here as usual but there was violence about 20 minutes away where I work in Coventry which was quickly dispersed by the police. I couldn't care less if the police opened fire on these brain dead scumbags and killed them all. I don't blame insurance companies at all for increasing insurance premiums, blame these asbo dole pr1ks. I have huge respect for the police out there doing there job.

I'll second that. The Clapham ones were about 4 minutes walk from my home - its just nice to see there were just as many people out there with brooms wanting to clear it all up and make it all look how it was again. . .

Hope none of you guys got hurt or had any property damaged by these feral a-holes.

I think the American policy of shooting looters should be brought in here. I felt so sad seeing this sort of thing happening in the UK.

I also feel that alot of this has been brought on by all these years of parents being told that if they punish their kids too far they run the risk of getting jailed.Kids have no respect for the Police ,they just laugh and tell them "pi$$ off you can't touch me I know my rights " . In my day you would have got a slap ,a kick up the arse from the Officer and taken to your house where your father would then give you a hiding and then been sent to bed with no food. (theme from the Hovis advert playing in the background).

sorry that was a rant.

Scary times.

I'm massively annoyed with how things are in Britain today. Its gradually got worse since I was a lad. Jeremy Kyle highlights the majority of the 'youths' of today on his program - no hopers with no jobs, but plenty of kids with unknown fathers. How on earth is anyone going to grow up to have the acceptable morals to fit into society, when their parents show blatently little regard to their welbeing and development. Then their kids have 10 kids to 10 different fathers, and the cycle continues.

The riots are just an excuse to get a flat screen telly and 'show' that they are 'hard'.
Everyone with a brain is just thinking NO, you are a theif and a scrote - but enjoy your telly, as they don't have them in jail................ or do they? prison is a holiday for these kids - half their neighbours/peers are in there anyway.

You should have to have a licence to have kids and be ve'tted (not sure how to spell that - look at me ranting, when I can't spell) rather than just having a bonk and expecting a house and benefits.

I think I'll have a glass of wine, I've got myself all annoyed! Init...

It is interesting people steal things like crisps and soda.

And it seems they don't understand they can get criminal record or go to jail for a couple of t-shirts or microwave... Strange behavioural pattern. This is beyond me.

There are also other looters that the police ignore: http://nathanieltapley.com/2011/08/1...erons-parents/

Joseph Fritzel has spoken out in anger at the recent riots, blaming the cause on irresponsible parenting he said

"You never saw my kids out on the streets like that."

Sorry....
