Performance Bushes
Has anyone ever fitted Poly Performance Suspension Bushes to an 8?

I have not found a company that does poly bushes for an 8. However, the 8 shares a lot of common components with other VAG marques.
If you use the Mayle site here put the part number into the box and search it will throw up the Mayle alternative. It also throws up all the Vag vehicles that the Mayle part fits. Check out the A4s and you will find that most of the suspension bushes are used by A4 of various vintage. Identify the A4s in question then go back to your poly bush provider and they will be able to provide. I think!!!!!! E.g. 4D0407515C is a bush for the rear lower control arm on my 98 S8. On the Mayle site it comes up as 100 407 0024/HD. This part also fits A4 (8D2, B5) and many others. On the powerflex site you can see that there are poly bushes available for the A4.

Guys,
I've been in contact with Powerflex regarding supplying polys for the A/S8. They do not supply for the car as yet (Conan's right again!) but was wondering if there is any interest in maybe a group buy or the possibility of future purchases if I can sort something out with them. I for one would be interested in a group buy. I need to replace 3 control arms soon. I would only want a complete set though, that is a full set of control arms with poly bushes fitted.
