Default how to remove intake manifold 40v

How do remove the the intake manifold off the engine???

I have remove 4 torx bolts either side and the thing just wont budge....i have a mallet ready to hit if need be....but i d rather use finesse if possible...so any advice would be much appreciated.

Check underneath, there must be more bolts hiding somewhere. It should fall off when loosened

Default Hex bolts not the torx bolts

Turns out the torx bolts hold the upper part of the manifold to the lower part. To remove the intake manifold you have to undo the hex bolts...there are 7 each side and the intake manifold pretty much drops off.

There are vaccuum pipes you have to detach and the fuel pipes...but other than this comes off fairly easy.
