Well my sat nav has packed up again (laser!!) so rather than spend more on it I have bitten the bullet and purchased an new unit. The new unit came with an adapted fascia for an a8 i think! This is of course is no use to me as you all know my car is an RS 6. So a quick text to someone and he sent me a link which I must say I found very helpful as I was quite apprehensive about attempting this!!

All in all it took me about 20 mins to replace both fascias and if I can manage this then anyone can
I must say Thank you to Ian (IT) for both the quick delivery of the unit and the help with the link
