Singing in the library?? I know that libraries are not the silent places of scholarly contemplation they may have been but brushing up your Roger Plant impressions wont go down well with the old boys reading the papers and trying to keep warm in the corner.

As a slight diversion I was listening to something on Radio 4 earlier where they were discussing "culture" and what it means.
Someone did actually say, when comparing classical and pop music (in the context of culture) that "of course" (as if it was innately obvious to a cultured person such as himself) the Beatles were better than Led Zeppelin.
