Well gave the old girl her 1st proper inspection since ownership and a few things on the list:
- New cam seals and rocker seals - n/s cam seal and rear o/s in particular. - Oil change. - Coolant leak from oil cooler, so new seal set going in there. - New sump gasket going in. - New timing belt kit and water pump, previous garage (5k ago with old owner) had used tipex and not correctly slackened off cam sprockets so tension not spread correct & existing belt was alarmingly slack in places & too tight in others - just glad i made it this far! - Rear diff flange oil seals as leaking both sides + top up - Gearbox filter fluid and gasket - Final drive flange seal & O ring + new fluid - Install Bilsteins allround and new mounts/rubber where needed - New front ARBs - New linkage arm for vacuum linkage arm on plenum chamber as one is broken (i am trying epoxy or wire as a start as not paying silly money for a replacement) but the fact its never worked properly during my ownership makes me excited to see the difference when sorted as effects performance quite a lot although not something flagged by VCDS unless you do a specific output test.
