Default Transferring petrol between A8s

On Saturday, I should be picking up my new A8 D3 to replace the D2. I'll be selling the D2 myself, the problem is that it has almost 3/4 of a tank of petrol in it. I'd like to transfer most of this over to the new D3, as I wont be driving the D2 again (hopefully) since it will be declared sorn and have no insurance on it.

I'll leave enough to regularly start the D2, I can drive it up and down the farm track to keep it running ok.

How handy are you with a bit of old hose and your mouth?

Would probably be a difficult job as I assume the D2 has an anti-siphon fuel filler (for that very reason!)

I tried the same with my old car and transferring the petrol to my D3 and it was so much hassle I just admitted defeat eventually. I could draw the fuel out from my old car perfectly but getting it into the D3 was a bit of a polava without an appropriately sized funnel/hose

Disconnect fuel hose from injector rail, and connect power to fuel pump fuse to make it run and let the pump do the work. You will need some extra length of hose from disconnected fuel hose to container or other car wherever you want to transfer petrol to.

As an alternative solution I'd suggest adding an extra line in the sales ad:

--- car comes with 3/4 tank of fuel
