PF console switches - are any latching on/off?
I intend to use the large spare PF-style switch slot (to the right of the steering wheel) for a "video in motion" switch when I get my DVB-T working properly.
As stage 1 of this I bought a rear blind switch, knowing it's just an instantaneous contact, because: 1. It's got a good, relevant symbol on it. (Others have used it for garage door openers I believe) 2. To check it fits OK and test the VIM function works. Looking at the switch it's fairly easy to dismantle, so the cover can easily be swapped to one with a different function. Ideally I'd like to get a latching switch and swap the covers over, failing that I'll do it with a relay of some sort. So, does anyone know if any of the PF D2 switches are physically latching; press for on then press again for off? Would the hazard switch be like that, for example?

Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
