s8 2001 Metallic Blue For Sale £2500.00

Hi all, for sale is my S8. Unfortunately the time has come to let her go as she's just not getting the use i originally thought i would give her.

I am listing on here first before Ebay as this car really does need to go to someone who knows the model.

I have had the car for approximately 2 1/2 years and have done very little mileage in that time (no more than 2k). Below are the facts which i will be very critical about.

186,000 miles
Full service history up to 170ish (All Audi Main Dealer)
3 months MOT remaining (will renew if asking price is met)
I think i'm the 4th owner (will confirm when i dig up paperwork)
Tax expired
Every conceivable extra associated with S8 (leather, alloys, navigation, etc) which all work.
Alpine roof mounted flip down screen
DVD player in boot
2 x Clarion headphones for rear passengers
Branded tyres all round
Gearbox repaired last year by Hardy Engineering (gearbox specialist) as reverse gear failed, also installed new clutch pack (£1200.00)



Items to consider:

Due to the mileage the car obviously has stone chips to the bonnet and front bumper.

There is also a scuff on the rear bumper corner where a neighbour tried to squeeze out of a space.

Drivers side door mirror has become discoloured but not cracked or broken.

Spare tyre need replacing although will replace with a very good 2nd hand tyre if asking price is met.

3 months MOT remaining (will renew if asking price is met).

Tax expired.

TV need digital box as is analogue.

Wheels have curbing (by previous owner).

The car itself drive's lovely, no smoking, not burning oil, engine purrs, gearbox is smooth.

That's a brave statement to make in these parts and I suspect you'll be proven incorrect very shortly.

This is an excellent selling point, although I never heard of Hardy Engineering. Is there any warranty or guarantee for their work?

Thanks for the reply, the price is in the title. The car is in London SE25. And i don't know how to embed sorry!!!

Regarding the gearbox repair, obviously the reverse gear was repaird, all new main seals and new clutch pack. Hardy Engineering have been doing gearboxes for years (not a mechanic who's done a few gearbox repairs) and i got a years warranty on the box which was repaired last July.

Electric rear blind

Rear heating controls
First aid kit (unused)
