Ambulance wanted
I'm looking for a solid van around 53 - 55 plate Transit or Sprinter based modular body Ambulance, mileage up to 200k as long as service history is still with it. On air bags or leafs must have night heater still there and working Not interested in any of the kit i.e. stretcher, piped oxygen ect.
If anyone knows of any at a good price give me a shout

They get auctioned off David but i can never get to Wales to the auction.

Just thought i'd ask, you never know who's got what and if they were selling it might save me the travelling around only to come away with nothing, as it'll have to be good to drive. Not looking to put it back into service or anything but will have to be able to put a few more miles under it's belt.

Thanks Del, i do have reasons for an ex ambulance i won't go into here, the truck is a touch big for my needs at the mo.
I have thought about larger trucks previously but keeping it at home and on site would be awkward. If i was going to 7.5T or over i'd be looking for Russian or old Bittish military trucks as before, something like a Gaz66 or Zil131 radio body. I very nearly bought an old Thorneycroft Nubian on a 4x4 chasis (quite rare most were 6x6) a few years ago, still think i should have.
