Default Air suspension light - plus headlamp leveller light

oops...

May have a bit of a problem here.

Headlamp leveller warning light came on in the DIS, accompanied by the orange suspension light of death.

They came on together, then went off together a few minutes later. The warning light display (again, both headlamp leveller and orange suspension light) returned two or three times during the rest of my journey home turning off simultaneously again after a few minutes each time.

The car felt okay. I normally drive it in dynamic mode, so ran it up to comfort mode to a: give me a bit more clearance if the suspension was failing and b: to see whether it worked. The car rose to comfort height in around 30 secs as usual, which suggests to me that the compressor is probably okay.

Now parked, the car's stance and ride height look fine - she was driving perfectly as usual, despite the warning lights.

The bit I don't quite get is that I thought the two systems (headlamp levellers and air suspension) were independent, which makes me wonder why both faults have shown themselves at exactly the same moment...

I'll get the car booked in to be sorted early next week (even if it ends up needing a new compressor and costing a couple of grand the car is well worth it), but would be interested if anybody here has an idea of what the problem might be.
