Default Ride feels a little busy/choppy

As above. First noticed this when I bought the car, feels like the wheels are slightly buckled or out of balanced. The day I bought it I had two new front tyres put on. They balanced fine. The rears I had checked more recently, and they took 60-75 grams per wheel to balance up properly.

On the motorway the car sort of vibrates a bit, like it's overdamped.

Before I bought the car, 4-5 weeks ago, I scanned it with VCDS, and I've done this again more recently, no faults were shown regarding the suspension.

In VCDS I ran the checks and the compressor had nearly 12 bars of pressure and each corner went up and down etc. The suspension otherwise operates exactly as it should, no warning lights, lifts and lowers, nothing is greyed out on the MMI, no knocks or clunks.

The other week I pumped the tyres up to high 30s and the ride was intolerable. I've since lowered pressures to 30/31 and this has helped a bit.

I'm a bit confused, the tyres are big balloon 55 profiles and I'd imagine the ride would be too soft if anything....
