Ironically, after chatting to Neil about the A2, I made some enquiries with my insurance company to see how much it would cost to insure a 1.4tdi (I gave them the reg of one for sale on eBay), and it came in at £10.....
That's to say, £10
more than my insurance for the A8, and that includes a 10% for multiple policies! And there was me thinking of picking up a cheap car with cheap tax and cheap running expenses.
