I'm not sure how many miles we did, but including getting there and back, and a few diversions en route, probably well over 2000. |
The WAW is listed as being over 1,600 miles. When I did the recce for it, I reckon I did close to 1,500 of it, plus the 350 to get to the starting grid. When we all did it, I reckon we did around 1,400 just on the WAW. In addition, the rest of you had already travelled to South Wales for the annual meet, plus the ferry and the trip to Cork, and then after the WAW we did the Causeway Coast drive which is another 200 and then your drive back to Dublin (100) and then home, so yes well over the 2,000 mark.
