Just as an aside, the mass production of PCBs was helped by the use of lead free solder as it had a lower melting point. The following video shows the solder bath in operation.

A side effect of it is that they are more prone to becoming brittle and cracking over time. This is very evident in games machines like the PS4 and its counterparts. Not sure if the PCBs in the instrument clusters are soldered using this solder bath technique though.
