That's been the reason (excuse for some) why so many companies, including eBay and Amazon sellers, won't ship to Northern Ireland, or if they do, they charge exorbitant rates. I was looking at buying a digital torque wrench adaptor off Amazon, but they were charging £40 to ship it from GB, for an item weighing about 1/2kg. Never bothered, and ended up buying a proper torque wrench at a later date.
It's that messed up that some companies in GB are sending goods to NI with customs declarations on them!
