Yes, it's really quite an old program, I remember its first airing probably 6 or 7 years ago? Watched it with pleasure as we used to holiday in that area when I was a child. Overall an interesting series which has been repeated quite a few times.

As for JB I'm afraid I just find her annoying, I watch the programs despite her!

Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

A bit late in posting these pictures, but came across them as I was doing some tidying up. Pretty bad this year, as I only took a handful of shots. Too busy enjoying the test drives.

The following is the dashcam footage from the Annual Meet this year. It's 25 minutes long and is the first of three (the other two I haven't done yet).

If you don't want to watch all of it (until I do a Benny Hill version), at least watch the first and last two minutes.

Sean, very nice. Thanks.
Now I know what happened at Gellilydan when the chap in front of me turned around and you followed him.
I carried on from there to Portmeirion and waited patiently for you to catch up. I know the area quite well so just did my own thing.

Default There and back again

Just under one year on, even better weather, and driving replaced by walking - lots of it. Still lots of eating and drinking as well - and making me look forward to this year's meet even more

Intentionally, or did the Tesla run out of charge?

Seriously though, t'was a very scenic location. Would love to do some hiking around there some day. I bet the views are stunning on-foot.

There and back to Manchester with 50 miles to spare .

It's a great place to walk on the flat (old railway track), over the top, or cycle (track again). What I really fancied doing was this - http://www.supbarmouth.co.uk/#!price...sessions/c1jxp.

Next time, maybe...

Last time I tried something like that was with a polystyrene float in a public swimming baths, aged about 10. It didn't end well.

Looks fun but I think I'd probably end up spending more time in the water than standing upright.
