A combination of the video link I posted, MJs torque specs, and the GKN part numbers she provided in this thread, it was actually a pretty straightforward job, all done and just sailed through its mot |

revisiting this as I'm now needing to do the passenger side one.
Can anyone confirm if its possible to extract the driveshaft without dismantling the shock/arms? I assume so but am now half way through and the sod is not wanting to fit through the gap available |

To answer my own question.
Yes it can. Not as easy as the drivers side, needs to turn a bit push a bit and repeat, but it will come out |

Disconnecting the track rod end helps a lot.

Interesting to know, although I don't really want to be doing mine. I just did the drivers side, but since I was already doing the spring and shock absorber, I had 'tons' of room.
