I was fascinated by the central display with the views from the rear and side cameras being available, as well as having the physical mirrors as well (less excuse for not 'seeing' another car). Can you enlighten me on the drivetrain image where certain parts kept changing colour? The battery one was obvious starting of green and eventually ending up red.

I'm pretty sure that a status display, so I very much doubt he could have done back-to-back runs in his M3P without letting the battery cool off, as it's not really built to do that - unlike a MS Plaid, which has rectified that shortcoming...

No sound but tortured rubber....... seems.... odd.

I have done precisely one lap of the 'ring, early in the morning in September 2009, as a passenger in my own 1967 Vitesse 2L, driven by a very good friend who has considerable competition experience, though no 'ring experience at all. It was quite an adrenalin rush.......

This was at the beginning of day 4 of our first Club Triumph 10 Countries run and we had driven up from Italy overnight having already driven the length of France, over the Pyrenees into Spain, back over the Pyrenees through Andorra and over the Alps twice, so the poor old car had already had 2,600 miles of thrashing...... Measely 120 bhp and boot full of tools/spares notwithstanding, we (he) managed a lap in just under 12 minutes. He wanted another go to improve his time but given that the brakes were already smoking vigorously and fates nose well tweaked, I figured we should quite while we still had a working car!

Nick
