Default Agggghhhh Not how today was meant to go

Well and truly

I thought I would make a start on some of the to do list and make some head way with rvc install.

According to bentley and etka the rvc module is meant to go in the left hand side of the boot.

Well after ripping it all to bits i will be damned if I can see where its meant to go.

I really need someone to post me a pic of theirs

So much wire, I hope you remember what went where. Looks like there's loads more in there than mine.

Yeah and more to go in

I cant see how you could get Rear seat entertainment stuff in there too just no more space.

More annoyingly found some of the trim fixings missing, lazy ass techs get my back up.

The media bay rack changed between PF and FL, so maybe you have the instructions for the PF, though I'd imagine it goes in there somewhere.

Ah that might be why I can't find a place for it in there and now you said that, I bet it bloody well belongs in beside the battery, there's two different mounting sets listed, and when you change date to post Fl one of the brackets has no part number.

I'll hopefully get my harness to connect it all up tomorrow so it may end up being velcroed into place somewhere suitable.

Reversing camera was a later addition to everything, its quite rare to see prefacelift other than some S8's.

The DVD player would go where your DAB module is, although I dont know where the dAB module ends up after that. It does get a bit packed in there !

I dont know where the reverse camera modules sits, but I'll take a peek at mine tomorrow if I get chance to see if its obvious

Thanks Ian, are you talking about the nav DVD goes in place of dab?

Honestly it's got me puzzled as I have the both the media rack with all the modules and the nav drive rack in the house and the rvc doesn't seem to line up with any of the bolts?

Nope.. a 'proper' DVD player for watching films.. Honestly, I don't know how they worked out where all the crap goes, and all the wiring combos
