Just got back home after a tour around the freezing cold and grey NorthEast but some great empty roads!
The S8 is purring away after MJs work last summer.
Though if you think it was a bit grubby in Kelso, you should see it now, covered in dust and grime! We did the 12-mile Kielder Forest Drive. All unpaved dirt road with the highest point being 1500ft at Blakehope Nick.
The dust even worked it's way copiously between the outer and inner rubber door seals.

Many thanks to the organisers, a superb event, here's to the next one.

Lots of things to catch up on, including the dinner bill. I did wonder about that at the time we checked out.

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

A snapshot of some of the photos I took during the meet. Will have to have a proper look at them and tidy them up. 8 photos for each section below:

Default Great photos!

Thanks for loading these Sean - all great, and a lovely variety showing what we got up to. I particularly like the bridge shot, as I was trying to find one like that, but there was no such viewpoint from the other (marshalling ) side of the bridge. Good stuff.

Best I could do in the timeframe. Would needed to have gone further downstream to try and get both ends in.

I also have a few photos to tinker with for yourself and a couple of others. Might be working on a Hilux tomorrow and chauffeuring my brother to hospital on Monday for cataract surgery. Also helping other brother with some house renovation, but waiting on flooring to arrive. Will get them sorted... eventually.

I managed a virtually identical one, just using an iPhone. No A8, but a canoeist!

Thanks for the Photos everyone.
As a newbie, its nice to see people and their cars.

Off on our first real road trip today since we have owned our S8.

500 miles in one day... hope it goes well.

Thanks for the great photos Sean and also a reminder of the fantastic weather we had. (we were worried that visiting a graveyard in freezing rain and wind wouldn't go down too well with everyone)
