Dash cluster crashing / rebooting on startup

Hello all, I have a weird probblem with my 2003 A8 4.0 tdi which I wondered if anyone could advise on?

Most times when I start the car, especially if it has been sitting overnight, the car starts fine but the dash cluster goes black (as does the button illumination through the MMI unit etc) and after a few seconds the dials come back on bu the time has reset to midnight and the date to Feb 2003.

This is sometimes accompanied by other warning lights (EML light, traction control, ABS etc) and sometimes not.

I have VCDS and have scanned it which has given the following results - however I've only just got my copy of VCDS so not very clued up on deciphering the results - can anyone assist?
