Help identifying coolant pipe?

Hello -

Was about to run the new (to us) A8 up to the Lake District this weekend, but pre-flight checks revealed leaking coolant around the expansion tank. I think I've identified the rogue hose, but I'm failing to track down the part number to make sure I order the correct replacement?

If anyone could look at the attached pic and suggest how to identify the hose, and where best to find a replacement I'd be hugely grateful!

Part number is 4E0121103AG. According to the parts catalogue, it hasn't been dropped yet, so in theory you should be able to get it from an Audi dealership. You could also try A8parts themselves as they sell new parts as well. Their phone number is in the header image above. TPS may be an option if you have a trade account with them. If you can't source one from those places, I may be able to find a couple of sources from online retailers I've used before.

BTW Thankfully you only have a few posts, so I was able to find out exactly what model you have. It would be helpful for future queries if you update you signature line to include the car details.

That's so kind - I'll fill in profile details today..!

Turns out it was the plastic nubbin from the expansion tank which was the real issue, so new tank time... but I'll follow your advice and give the sponsors a call. Much appreciated!

Just a quick PS - they've found me a new original Audi tank, and were lovely to deal with.

Will definitely be the first place I try in the future.
