The Murple looked like this at dinner time today......
and I've got a big journey on Thursday for 2 track days and which culminates with the meet in Kelso. In preparation I've replaced all the rear suspension bushes, a top arm up front and I'm about to fit my third radiator. I was supposed to do the 4 wheel alignment and AC recharge this morning. Now booked in 4 hours before I'm due to depart.

My first engine swap after cambelt failure. 1996 4.2 A8SQ - Ming Blue. 178k on a cambelt! Trader's 8. Delivered to A8Parts at Lifex. 2003 2.8 A8SQ - powder blueish. Fill in for a while. Sold on. 1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8. And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.

Seems like everyone is doing major work on their cars at the moment. That seat probably isn't speeding things along.
 I'm doing tour guide tomorrow for my niece and partner (over from Germany) of around 150 miles. Part two is on Thursday with another tour of around 180 miles (both parts of the WAW route).

Why is at meet times that jobs appear.
I have a pads warning that has resolved into front pads AND discs. Discs are £317 each plus vat.

I think I'll place a bet to say that the 8 will be all good and ready.
I think that if you get it in for an alignment and AC recharge tomorrow then you should have no worries. What are the betting odds BTW?
