Erratic wiper fault
Ok so I was driving along the M4 and the heavens opened up and it was raining so hard the wipers could barely keep up .. all of a sudden my wipers stopped
then for a brief period they started acting very strange ... they were going extremely fast so fast they left the screen and were way over the driverside nearly taking wing mirrors off other cars then they would stop in the middle and then begin again in a strange manner like above any ideas is this electrical gremlins ? maybe ecu on the wiper motor at first I thought it may be stiff linkage and the motor straining but after the last episode I think it may be another cause .. has this happened to any one else at all ? Much needed is reliable wipers in this weather if any one can help Thanks guys |

What about bunged drainage holes? Could the heavy rain have got to the electrics? Before I read about blocked drainage holes on here, the water was up to the base of the wiper motor.
