Phatbox Phatnoise Complete with box
I'm selling my almost new phatbox phatnoise.
Bout it less than a year ago brand new in a box, unopened. Since it don't fit the D3, I got no need for it. I'd like £100 + posting.

Scott, what's included in the package? Checked their website, and apart from the phatbox, I would need the relevant lead to connect to my D2 and also a data cartridge.
Also, from the pictures, it seems to be quite big. Any idea if it will fit in the space in the boot along with the CD changer and analogue TV tuner? Can't check my own car, as it's with the mechanic getting the belts and other bits done.

You'll get everything.
The dock, power, lead, harddrive, phatbox, box, booklets and mounting brackets. It's about 4x12 inches. It's a real shame it won't work with the D3. I really liked it.

So does the Phatbox just replace the CD changer, using the same DIN-style connector and needing no extra feed?
Presumably it works OK with RNS-D?

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.). 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Its just that.
you remove the CD change and fit this in its place. when you go to the changer menu to select the disc with a change, with the phatbox you are selecting playlists/menus. which it will tell you about and you select it from there. 20gb harddrive is upgradeable to something bigger if you want but I had over 40 albums (you might get them, so don't judge my music selection to much ) and it was just under half full. It works faultlessly with the RNS-d. CD-6 is the setting menu, in that you can select what OEM stereo you have. I will miss that little box of tricks lol
