Default Lambo Aventador crash in London

At the top of Sloane Street:

That'll buff out
The way this car tears around the city's streets, he had it coming it quite frankly.

Difficult to say who's fault it is, but if Mazda just pulled out last minute than I would go mental with it's driver. I agree that some Lambo and Ferrari owners driving recklessly but come on, when we see them driving like complete tw*ts in cars like that we moan. I wouldn't drive car like that like 90 years old, would you?? It's a bloody supercar and it deserves to be driven like a supercar within reasonable safety levels of course. If he was doing 60 or went from standstill to the moment of accident withing something like 0.5sec then that's not fair on Mazda driver at all.

Plenty of evidence from the sound track and video as to its actual speed.
Looked well over 30mph at the impact and sounded a lot more beforehand.

What's the betting he was doing something like this shortly before the crash?

30mph speed limit, Mazda is coming out of junction slowly and the Lambo makes no attempt at braking until after the impact. He obviously wasn't paying attention.

Guys, I'm not sure he was really speeding, I know it sounds like it but this cars are LOUD and it sounds even louder on streets like that one.
Even, if he wasnt breaking until the initial hit then his speed wasn't really over or much over 30.
Stand on the side of the road and look at the cars passing with 30mph, looks very much like that Lambo, plus there would be much more damage at 45-50mph+

The way it left the ground suggests a higher speed, as does the stopping distance which looks like about 25 metres or more.
At 30mph an ordinary car on a dry road like that will stop in less than 15 metres, that car should be a lot less, maybe 2 car lengths.
Might have forgotten where the stop pedal was I guess.

Hmmmm....still I'm not so sure.

Breaking distance; If you pay attention you will notice that car landed just before the BMW, and as we all know breaks dont work during the ''flight''
So the stopping distance is only few meters, plus when you taking off you are in a pretty big shock and all over the cabin so break pedal may not be the first thing you press, in his case first thing during the flight he pressed was a speed dial on his phone to call mum

Take off; The only reason why he took of was the position of Mazda's left wheel. as he was turning right his left wheel was fully exposed and if you hit it right as he did this works like ideal launch pad. Perfect launch pad + 30 ish mph = a good few meters flight.

Plus as mentioned before I think sound plays here a big role in judging the take off speed as Aventador is a really really loud car
