Apparently 1110 is no longer available, if I can get to that one from there I can use the 5750 discs.

Is that number specifically for the 1110 version? If so, then these companies appear to be selling them for a few euro:

Just use proxy server. If you wish you can use one I have set up at google app developer servers, it's decent speed, a lot faster than many of free public proxies. Just type in web address or copy/paste link in there. You can also use it to access blocked sites from work like youtube/facebook etc. There is also link to instructions how to set up your own if you wish.

The link is to a rapidshare page which shouldn't be an issue - I've grabbed the file but until I get a pm with password I can't extract it :/

Think I have a nero disk image at last, found the download link on

There is a rapidshare link at the end of one thread, once I registered (which took a while as the site is German) the download from rapidshare worked. I have mounted the image and it does appear to contain 1100 based on the content of the metadata2 file.

I do have the full link, but I'll not post it here just in case it's against the rules.

Well, the disc which I downloaded worked.

MMI is now on version 1110, took a while and a number of restarts before it showed no more updates needed. Did it at lunchtime in the office carpark with the engine running. Had a bit of a heart attack when the air compressor kicked in during the phone update, but it went through fine.

1110 looks very different to the version that I had before.

Next stop 5150, not sure if I'll go all the way. Worried about component protection and the phone on the last hop.

Don't forget when you think it's finished the 5150 update to run the 3 discs through again to check there aren't further updates. Audifin's needed 2 goes to get the phone working again

Glad you've got it sorted - still not heard from the bloke I asked for password :/
