Fuel pump gasket kit
Hi all.
Where can I get the gasket kit for my fuel pump? The o rings and the weird kinda haxagon gasket? Audi Ireland are telling me it's deleted from the availability. And no suitable replacement. Thanks |

It was available for £100 or so from TPS a couple of weeks ago. I guess that must have been the last one

Brilliant guys thank you. I googled it here, and all I could find were European crowds that kept telling me it was deleted. You must have a special version in Scotland... The Irish version was on sauce I'd say.... 😁
Thanks again |

So let me get this straight...
Audi design a needlessly complicated fuel pump system for their flash aluminium car, then 15 years after they stop making it, right in the midst of when all the 15-20 year old fuel pumps are failing, they stop supplying the unique gasket needed to seal the needlessly complicated pump to its housing. Leaving the proud 2nd, 3rd etc owners of the lovely flash aluminium car in the lurch... That sound about right? Most of those suppliers are probably providing a genuine part too. Not sure if I've seen the metal rubber gasket as an after market item... I wonder if I kept my old one?!

Doesn't exactly encourage brand loyalty does it?

That's the response I was getting from audi Ireland dealers, however most of them struggle to spell audi so I wouldn't take that as gospel, however a few German dealers I messaged said the same....

The German online retailers can buy from Audi Tradition who now have the few remaining D2 spares so many of them can still get the parts, albeit at a higher cost. Unfortunately we can't buy from Tradition in the UK because they are complete cretins who can't grasp the concept of international trade, or indeed even e-commerce

TPS are telling me its on back order which means theoretically still available although we won't know for sure until we actually order it. £130 if you want me to try ordering one?
