Sounds very technical if you're playing with ECUs and instrument clusters on a test bench. Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but have you checked the following wiring diagram found in the
D2 Tech Dump thread, to see if that has anything useful. I know it's for a petrol engine, but in theory, the majority of the wiring should be the same between the ECU and cluster.
