Assuming standard car length is 4.5m, the lambo, after initial collision, travels 3 x 4.5m in 1 second (roughly).
Thats 13.5m/s = 30.2mph
One would hope he hit the brakes before 1st collision, plus the decelerration after collision, he must have been going more than 30mph for his post-collision velocity to average at 30mph.
Just following on from that, the Lambo covers the length of the Mazda in 0.2 second. The Demio is just over 12 feet long (12.47). That equates to 60 feet per second, which is 40.9 mph. Now, even allowing for the Mazda also travelling roughly 5 feet, that still equates to the Lambo doing 37.5 mph.

Still not convinced though that the blame should lie with the Mazda driver. He was exercising caution coming out of the junction. The Lambo driver was speeding and didn't even react to the Mazda as the video clearly shows he made no attempt to brake. If the cars were the other way round, then I could see it being the Mazdas fault.

As to the tone of the stories about this, I haven't read any, but face the facts, the driver was driving without due care and attention. If a child had walked out from in front of the Nissan for example, what then?

Yes he's young, and yes he has a spectacular car, but that doesn't give him the right to drive like that in a built up area and expect to get away with it. He tried it and it didn't go well for him. He should thank his lucky stars that he didn't injure anyone.
