Hi there. New to this group hope all of you are doing good. I'll introduce myself in the right location after this post. I have a problem with the steering wheel motors..they both seem to be stuck. I tried lubricants and help the threaded shaft to rotate but not budging.... I still am working to try the VCDS route to test the system with the Ross tech but wondered if any of this was familiar to anyone? Thank you.

I've never had the problem, but have you tried a bit of gentle persuasion on the steering wheel at the same time you're pushing the button? i.e. Push the button to move the steering wheel out whilst pulling the steering wheel gently.

Hello Steamship.
Thank you for your reply. I have tried wrestling with the wheel up and down quite forcefully for a bit with no luck. I am unsure if it is the threaded rod that is meant to rotate? As for the VAG diagnostic route is a no go. It found no module for it to talk to? |
