Nearly 20 years old and 204,000 miles, the S8 passed for another year
![]() Only observations including such massive items as: Offside Front All direction indicators slightly discoloured (4.4.3 (a)) I mean, I can live with that. Also its amazing how good the emissions are when you do the MOT on LPG, so much cleaner and well within limits, makes it like a modern small petrol engine car ![]()

On the LPG front, last year I was speaking to the manager of one of the petrol stations I used and he said the biggest deterrent for most owners was the initial upfront outlay (here in Northern Ireland anyway), where not only do they have to pay for the tanks and pumps, but also full tanks of LPG. Combine that with minimal numbers of customers for LPG and it becomes an expensive undertaking. In the past few years, my two nearest stations stopped selling it, one of which was on the main road from Londonderry to Belfast, and they said they were only getting around 5 customers a week!
